When i do clean up the kids room i will just get everything thats on the floor or out of place and put them on there beds so they can put everything where it needs to go.

i threaten too but i just take there toys and put it up for a month or so and give it back if they are good lol.

This IS a good idea! Although a couple of my kids would just lay with all the crap and wouldn't care if I threw it out.... bastards lol.
